It was extended deadline from September 27. The Police, however, will give relation to the commuters having at least learning permit for the type of vehicle they are driving.
The police authorities warned that violators will face legal proceedings, including possible detention and impoundment of their vehicles, as part of a broader campaign to curb unlawful driving in the capital.
They further stated that those caught driving without a license will also be barred from obtaining character certificates until they secure a valid license. This measure is designed to deter unlicensed driving by tying it to wider administrative and legal consequences.
The ITP has appealed to all motorists to fulfil licensing requirements before the deadline to avoid severe penalties, stressing that these steps are crucial for strengthening road discipline and ensuring public safety.
