SSP hails performance of Safe City officials

ISLAMABAD: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Safe City Islamabad has lauded police officers for their exemplary performance, highlighting their dedication, professionalism and effective role in maintaining law and order across the capital.
According to the statement, SSP Dr. Muhammad Iqbal met with police officers at his office to recognize their outstanding performance and dedication to their assigned responsibilities. He appreciated their excellence in duty and presented them with certificates of commendation.
On this occasion, he said that all officers should continue to perform their duties with the same spirit and dedication. He added that it is our foremost responsibility — and a requirement of the oath we took when we donned this uniform — to serve with commitment. He directed all officers to carry out their duties with vigilance, a sense of responsibility, and honesty.
He further stated that good performance by police officers will be appreciated, while departmental action will be taken against those who demonstrate poor or unsatisfactory performance.
The SSP emphasized that the Safe City Project has become a crucial pillar of Islamabad Police, significantly improving surveillance, monitoring, and rapid response to criminal incidents. He noted that the success of this initiative depends on the efficiency and dedication of the officers operating the command and control systems. Dr. Iqbal also underlined the importance of technology-driven policing, urging officers to stay updated with modern tools and techniques to ensure citizens’ safety and timely response to emergencies.
He reiterated that the Islamabad Police are committed to ensuring the protection of life and property of citizens, while maintaining public trust through transparency and professionalism. The SSP concluded that the department will continue rewarding hardworking officers and implementing strict accountability to further enhance service delivery.
